Mineral - Xenon

The mineral Xenon is going to introduce us to a whole different type of mineral in that it is found in 3 different forms, a solid, a liquid and as a gas. The name is pronounced as "ZEE-non".  In the chemistry world, Xenon is first considered to be a gas, more specifically referred to as a Noble Gas. Most of our discussion will involve the gas form but it is not limited to the Gas form only. Normally Xenon is found in the atmosphere at about 1 part per 11.5 million.  But other sources claim a level of 1 part per 20 million. So, one of those "facts" that are not exactly a well developed "fact".  Interestingly it is believed that the planet Mars contains about the same level of this mineral as does the earth. 

Xenon is controlled by the Amino Acid, Asparagine. This mineral carries an electron valence of zero, 0.  That means that it isn't pulled one way or the other. It is just there, to be used to do the heavy lifting. Put another way, it is not in bondage to any political agenda.  It carries a GAU sequencing path and is used 12,605,663 times in the DNA sequencing process. The molecular weight comes in at 131.29. So quite light on the scale. Some of the propaganda out there claims that Xenon has no biological function. Well, the ones that will claim that must be out to lunch as there are many biological functions, with the primary function being related to the functioning of the production of red blood cells.

So to begin this discussion we need to start with Asparagine since it controls or is very influential in the Xenon functioning within the body system. Aspargine and the stand-alone mineral Oxygen, have a connection with both the amino acid and the Xenon mineral itself as Xenon is obtained commercially by the separation of the air (atmosphere) into Oxygen and Nitrogen, both of which are primary factors in amino acids. As we will see Oxygen plays an important role as a companion to Xenon. Although Xenon can function on biological functioning alone, it appears that Oxygen doesn't function as well without Xenon being present in those same applications. Since Asparagine is vitally important for brain development and brain function, and Asparagine controls Xenon and Xenon has been shown to contribute to brain cell regeneration through the red blood cell production angle, one can see the picture beginning to form. 
 As to the biological functioning of Xenon, it is used in a number of medical applications and really to a further extent as an abused recreational drug of sorts.However, it is used in the production of certain cancer drugs. I am telling you all of this to bring perspective to the understanding of Xenon.   

Xenon is quite expensive to extract and contain from the atmosphere. So it is not widely used. Many times Argon is used as a substitute as the price is much less. I found one place that claimed Xenon costs about 11 dollars per liter and  Argon costs about 1 cent per liter.  Xenon has been used in general anesthetic.applications. But is not normally used due to the costs involved. Although there is some literature that suggests that newer recover methods of Xenon in anesthetic applications will allow this gas, read; mineral, to become more widely used. They like to use Xenon as it is much more stable and does a lot better job than most alternatives. Some claim it to be 50% more effective than nitrous-oxide, without the toxic side effects.  Xenon is used to prevent and or aid in the recovery from hypoxia and infarctions. These conditions are the conditions of where not enough oxygen is delivered to an area of the body and cell death or lack of oxygen function is taking place. Xenon also has neuroprotective actions and actually helps to prevent the toxic effects of nitrous oxide. 

Xenon is also is in welding applications, of Stainless Steel, MiG and TiG welding to prevent the weld from being contaminated as the welding is taking place. An uncontaminated weld will be almost perfect whereas a contaminated weld will have holes, inconsistencies in penetration and depth. This mineral is used in many light-producing applications and is responsible for the blue light and the brightness of the blue hue lights found in many applications. We can go on and on with more industrial uses, but I think the point is there, it is used widely in industrial applications. As earlier stated this mineral can be found in 3 states. The states can be changed by temperature and pressure. The liquid form dissolves very easily and dissolves many other minerals. The solid form is usually found in crystals and in that form it is actually more dense than granite. 

Essential Oil and Nutritional Aspect

While there is not really known of any plant that is full of or carries high levels of Xenon, one must look at a number of facts. The one fact is that if the plant is alive and healthy, then it will contain the proper levels and ratios of this mineral as well as many other minerals or it would not be healthy. One would find this mineral in any essential oil that comes from a healthy plant  Remember that the levels in the atmosphere are at either 1 part per 11.5 million or 1 part per 20 million, so in order to detect it in a test of the essential oil sample, one would need a very delicate testing method to detect it. But we know it is there because the plant wouldn't be alive without it to get the oil from in the first place. Here is why, the plants have a circulatory system much like the human has, and it requires many of the same minerals, enzymes, and amino acids as the human does. They have systems just like our blood and lymphatic systems, much like we do. So... to help with the production of some of the systems that this mineral directly influences one must consider using oils, herbs, and food that will help the blood system. Usually, the first go to here is products that are high in Iron. The list of oils that are high in Iron on a ppm basis does not come into the picture until you get down to the 1000 ppm mark. Whereas with herbs, they are out in the 5000 ppm range and they go all the way down. That list is way too long to list here. But with the oils, surprisingly we see Spearmint coming in at just below 1000 ppm and then down in the 600 to 750 ppm range we begin to see more oils coming into the picture and those are ones like Oregano, Peppermint and a host of other lesser known or lesser used oils. Then below the 600 ppm mark, we see a whole host, like Rosemary, Lemongrass, Ginger and on and on. As you can see those plants are plants that we normally ingest, coming in with the Iron levels enough to register enough to show cause and effect.  Now when it comes to food directly, well, that is all over the board.  We see nuts, seeds, meat, green veggies, many grains, etc., as containing levels that will affect change.

Further Discussion

As we can see most any food that is nutritious will help with this mineral being absorbed. The main mechanism for obtaining the mineral is through the gas form and that is from sucking air.  Yes, good old breathing. Normally the exchange takes place in the lungs and then it is transferred to the bloodstream at that entry point. So a key to obtaining this mineral is to have other body systems functioning in balance so that the levels needed for this mineral will balance out correctly. Yes, we can get some through our food systems, but that is a small amount and is actually a viable source of the mineral being obtained. Normally we don't see an overdose of this mineral under normal circumstances of life unless it is intentionally done through intentionally inhaling the gas form of this mineral.  many of you might be familiar with the sports world and performance enhancing drugs???  Wel this is one of those performance enhancing drugs that you hear about. The Russians have been famous for "huffing" Xenon gas. There is no real test to test for this per say, but they test other factors and from the numbers produced from those tests they can conclude that Xenon huffing has taken place.  What the problem here is that it gives an unnatural boost to the production of Red Blood cell production. Which gives the user an edge that is unfair, IE; gives them more strength and energy than they would normally have. 

Then we have the factor of Iron being involved as an indirect support for Xenon to do its job. But since we have Iron involved here, many times people mistake an issue with Iron incorrectly when the issue is really an issue with Copper. Then when we have these issues cooking we then have to then not forget the other factors involved here and that is the Oxygen, as Xenon is pretty much mechanically connected to Oxygen and the ratios of the Oxygen and Xenon.  So as you can see anytime we have the involvement of one mineral, it is easy to say, hey, this mineral is directly involved with whatever, in this case of Xenon, we have Red Blood Cell production, we also have so many other minerals that are intertwined that we have to consider the whole family, as it begins to look like a genealogy chart with all of the connecting family connections. 

Well there we have the basic rundown of the mineral Xenon.  So the main points are normally it is biologically as a gas, involved in Red Blood cell production, greatly depends on other minerals and enzymes to function and is a heavy lifter in the body functioning normally.  This mineral is highly dependent on proper ratios with other minerals to function properly.
